 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Sir Knight Bob Gambert on Saturday, March 9, 2019.
A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Hoffman Funeral Home, 2020 W Trindle Rd, Carlisle, PA 17013. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Mary Queen of Peace Chapel, Carlisle Barracks. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Oh gentlest Heart of Jesus, ever present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on the soul of Thy servant Bob Gambert. Be not severe in Thy judgement but let some drops of Thy precious Blood fall upon our beloved departed, and do Thou O merciful Savior, send Thy angels to conduct the souls of Thy servant to a place of refreshment and peace. We also have sub-sales and other periodic fund raisers and support to St. Patrick's  On March 5, 2019, St. Patrick Council 4057 hosted a 1st degree ceremony honoring Edward Gardner. An honorary life member of council 4057, Ed (pictured second from the left) is the council's oldest living member, having recently turned 92.
In attendance at the degree ceremony were PA State Deputy Mark Jago, PA State Chaplin Fr. Gregory d'Emma, and District Deputy David Kern. Council 4057 was pleased to welcome seven new brother knights as well as one new knight from Monsignor George D Mulcahy Council 8151 in Duncannon, PA. |
