Founded by a young parish priest now on the path to sainthood, the Knights of Columbus has helped strengthen men, their families, their parishes, and their communities since 1882. Today, there are more than 1.9 million members of the K of C doing good across the world. The Knights of Columbus stands as the strong right arm of the Church, and challenges members to grow in their faith through programs, fraternity, and vital member resources.
We are St. Patrick Council #4057, located in Carlisle, PA. Please explore our site to see how we work to realize the vision of our founder, Fr. Michael J. McGivney, at St. Patrick Church, Carlisle, and the greater Carlisle community.
The St. Katharine Drexel Prayer Ever-loving God, you called Saint Katharine Drexel, born and raised in the Eastern part of Pennsylvania, receiving religious training in the West, and by her own words: “Press forward and fear nothing.” She taught the message of the Gospel and brought the life of the Eucharist to the African American and Native American Peoples. By her prayers and example, enable us to work for justice among the poor, the oppressed, and the unborn, keeping us undivided in love in the Eucharistic community of your Church. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit. God for ever and ever. Amen
