At last night's Council 4057 business meeting, Regional Membership Director Dave Kern gave a report regarding his time at the KofC 2019 Supreme Convention in Minneapolis. Among many important developments, Dave highlighted the family that was honored as family of the year. Also of great significance, the Knights posthumously granted Kendrick Castillo, an 18 year old high school senior killed in the recent Colorado school shooting, full membership in the Knights of Columbus. A link to the article can be found below. Supreme Knight Carl Anderson summed things up as follows: “We have made a momentous decision,” said Anderson. “Kendrick wanted to join the Knights of Columbus to be more like us. By your acclamation, you have told the world that we want to be more like him.”

SAINT MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
